![]() ![]() ![]() I have been using QuickBASIC with DOSBox because my laptop dosen't have a PC speaker to produce primative PC speaker beeps with. Is this an issue of DOSBox, or another possibility, is this an issue of SDL? As I remember, if I use QEmu for Windows (another x86 emulator), Ctrl-Break is well supported. However, as I tried, when running DOSBox on NT 4, Ctrl-Break is supported! But with Windows 2000 and onwards, Ctrl-Break is not supported. Otherwise, it's works exactly as it always has.Īs SamuraiClinton pointed out, Ctrl-Break key combination is not supported when running QBasic. If execution was ended prematurely and the program was writing to an open file, just type 'close' in the immediate window and press ENTER to see the file results, but not if you're going to continue execution, otherwise you'd have to reopen and set the SEEK to the next file record. ![]() To stop program execution, you now need to press 'Ctrl-Scroll Lock'. In Hercules graphic card mode, SCREEN 3 does not work.Ĭtrl-Break IS supported, use Ctrl-Scroll Lock instead. ![]()
